THIS IS THE FASHION FOR US AT MBFWM

Well, another Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Madrid is over. This time I could not come in person, because I was very involved in other collaborations, but I followed the collections and was pleasantly surprised that the proposals of Spanish designers for us, men, increased slightly. Not much more, but the stone gives less. If in the last issue there were 4, then this time there were 9 out of 43 designers. We are moving forward ... little by little. techqueer

After seeing them all, I recommend some of the suggestions of Roberto Verino, Devota y Lomba, Moises Nieto, Miguel Marinero and Ana enclavamiento. These 5 designers presented the collection thinking what is best for us; without noise and fanfare, but at the same time modern and avant-garde proposals. I missed the drawings by Ion Fiz and, of course, the great David Delphin, from whom I hope he recovers soon. digitalknowledgetoday

ROBERTO VERINO

The Galician designer surprises us with the duality of man and woman as one of the leitmotifs of his collection. For us, a tailored suit with Bermuda shorts becomes the safest choice, and it does so with a color palette that ranges from black to white, through navy blue and various earth tones. This year he showed his spring-summer collection.

DEVOTION AND LOMBA

The couturier travels to Japan with a proposal for men and women, most prominently in the tailored suit and print of the Prince of Wales. For us, he chooses a modernized version of the judoka uniform, made in a suit - both day and night - in which the belt is made from the same fabric as the rest of the outfit. This is a modernized classic worth taking a look at.

MOSES THE LEADER

The Andalusian designer has finally dared to design for men, and to be honest, it couldn't be better. Classic outfits, but with an innovative look, pleasing colors and creative designs. This is a preview of his men's project Dos Studio, which goes on sale early next month, and has no shortage of bare-ankle pants or classic bomber. Their cloaks and scarves are my weakness.

MIGUEL MARINERO

The designer took two very different male looks from each other, but I prefer the one below. He wears a suit and evening coat with a double-breasted jacket and bow tie. Everything is in black and white. The look, while not too groundbreaking, I love because it is a win-win for all formal occasions and ATTENTION for the two-tone 1920s style shoes. They will be noticeable next season (although you will probably already see it on the streets).
